As drought deepens in our valley ICCF would like to invite all community members to join in prayer for God’s mercy and compassion, specifically by sending us rain. The state of California is in the midst of an exceptional drought, with some parts of the state receiving no significant rainfall for almost three months.
Here are some of the duas to recite:
Transliteration: Allaahumma ‘aghithnaa, Allaahumma ‘aghithnaa, Allaahumma ‘aghithnaa.
Translation:O God, send us rain. O God, send us rain. O God, send us rain.
Transliteration: Allaahum-masqi ‘ibaadaka, wa bahaa’imaka, wanshur rahmataka, wa ‘ahyi baladakal-mayyita
Translation:O God, give water to Your slaves, and Your livestock, and spread Your mercy, and revive Your dead land.
