Programs this week at ICCF


Thursday, August 21st:

There will be a Farsi program.  It will be a Qur’anic Discussion with Dr. Mirza Agassi.  The program will begin at 7:00p.m. 


Friday, August 22nd:

We will be hosting our first young adults meeting at the ICCF insha’Allah. The program will begin at 6:00p.m.Young adults only, ages 15+. Please no parents allowed other than the designated chaperons as this will be designed, ran and for our young adults.  Please come to support and be a part of our group ran by the youth for the youth and share your thoughts/ideas. Pizza and drinks will be served so please RSVP. All schools of thought welcome! No disrespect of any thought will be tolerated.


While our imam, Seyed Ali Ghazvini is out of the country, Jumu’ah prayers will be conducted by his nephew Seyed Hadi Qazwini. Seyed Hadi currently serves as the Associate Imam at the Islamic Center of Orange County in Costa Mesa, and is an Islamic educator and lecturer for many Muslim organizations and mosques around the world. As an educator, Seyed Hadi has a background in teaching Islamic History, Arabic, Qur’anic Studies, and Jurisprudence. Born to a distinguished family known for their scholarship, leadership, and dedication to serving Islam and the Muslim community, Seyed Hadi continued in the family tradition and studied at the world-renowned Shi’a Islamic Seminary in Qom, Iran under the guidance of many prominent scholars and professors. He has also recently graduated in May 2014 in Bayan Claremont’s Master of Arts in Islamic Leadership program.
