Breast Cancer Awareness and Education for Muslim Women

The Islamic Center is a recipient of a grant from The Komen G. Foundation for the Cure to reach out to Muslim women and disseminate educational material related to Breast Cancer.

The Islamic Center plans to provide classes for small groups in the following languages; Farsi, Urdu, Arabic and English.

Focus Groups

Our instructors have conducted three focus groups with women of various ages, ethnicities in regards to their knowledge, attitude, barriers to care and belief about breast cancer.
