Ramadan Timetable

As we approach the Holy Month of Ramadan, we are excited to plan nightly Qur’an recitations and special programs for the community.
All programs will be held in-person outdoors and streamed online until further notice.
For those who join us in-person, we will work to keep everyone safe by following strict CDC suggested guidelines. In addition to wearing masks, please bring your own copy of the Holy Qur’an and any other items.
We pray that God grants you all healing and forgiveness in these final days of Sha’aban and brings you a productive and beautiful Ramadan!

Outdoor Jumu’ah Prayers This Friday

as-Salaamu alaykum everyone!
We have missed you tremendously this past year! The board of ICCF is excited to announce that this coming Friday, March 19th at 1:30pm, we will have our first in person Jumu’ah prayer since March 6, 2020.
Jumu’ah prayer will be held outdoors in the yard and we will follow strict guidelines to keep everybody safe, inshallah! In order to do so, we have established a safety protocol that follows the rules set by the CDC and Fresno County that we all will be following (see below).
  • All congregants will be required to wear a mask that covers the mouth and nose at all times.
  • Please do not arrive early to avoid congregating. We will begin to gather at 1:15pm.
  • Perform wudhu at home as no access to restrooms will be available.
  • No food or water will be available.
  • Congregants will be required to bring their own items as needed as nothing will be provided:
  1. Qur’an
  2. Tasbih
  3. Turbah
  4. Bag for Shoes
  5. The prayer will be outside on the grass so bring whatever mat/rug/blanket you feel will keep you comfortable for the duration.
  6. Do not attend if you have any signs of sickness (sneezing, coughing, temperature, etc.)
  7. We know that this will be the hardest for all of us, as we miss each other so much, but we ask that you all practice safety and caution and avoid shaking hands, hugging, touching, or passing items between one another at the Center
We will have a volunteer monitoring our gathering and keeping us on track and safe.
For those who wish to watch online, it will be broadcasted live here.
Additionally, although not a strict requirement, we ask that you email your intention to attend to [email protected] as this would be greatly appreciated for our planning purposes.
We will periodically reassess the situation and will continue to meet outdoors for Jumu’ah prayer at 1:30pm each week until further notice. We truly look forward to being with you again!

Raising Funds to Help Victims of the Blast in Lebanon

On the evening of Tuesday August 4, a horrific explosion shook the capital of Lebanon. The deflagration could be heard and felt 15 miles away from its origin at the port of Beirut. Buildings within a short perimeter from the explosion were destroyed beyond use and those at the edge of its reach had windows blown away.
So far, there are an estimated 1,500 people missing, 5,000 wounded, 300,000 displaced people and 100+ confirmed deaths. The death toll will undoubtedly rise in the days to come. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.
Lebanon is a country already in political and economic turmoil. Add to the mix the roughly 1.5 million Syrian refugees that the country has shouldered, and the Covid-19 pandemic and you have a horrible humanitarian crisis. By accounts on the ground, hospitals are already full, and some had to evacuate their patients to other hospitals due to lack of electricity.
Lebanese citizens who lived through 15 years of civil war as first responders state that they have not seen anything like this devastation.
The Islamic Cultural Center of Fresno is raising funds to help the people of Lebanon. Any amount you give will serve to alleviate the pain and suffering caused by this catastrophe.
